The Slave and the lion
Slave and the lion:Once, there was a very cruel king in Africa. Seeing his harsh behavior, one of his slaves decided to ran away from the country. At last, he succeeded in running. But, the cruel king could not bear this insult. In other words, his slave had challenged his authority. So, he ordered his men to search out the slave immediately and to bring him to his court in chains. The slave pushed his way through a thick forest. Suddenly, he heard the moaning of a lion. He took pity on it and decided to help it. There was a thorn in its paw which had swallowed it. It slave pulled out the thorn immediately and the lion felt a lot of relief.
Slave and the lion:Thanking the slave, the lion went away to the jungle.
Slave and the lion:The agents of the king continued their search. At last, the slave was arrested. He was brought of the king to the court. The king ordered to throw the slave before a hungry lion. In spite of repeated attempts made by the slave for beg and mercy, the king did not budge. Many people gathered on the appointed day. They were eagerly waiting for the result.
Slave and the lion:The slave was taken to a place where the hungry lion was to be let loose on him. The slave was trembling with fear at that time. He was ready to face death. He looked towards the sky, remembered his Almighty Allah and closed his eyes. Almighty Allah who is, no doubt, the Most Benevolent and the merciful took pity on him. The lion rushed towards him. But in the next moment, it recognized him and started licking his feet. All were surprised to see this unexpected situation. The slave told the people that it was the same lion he had helped in the jungle. On hearing this, the slave was released.

- One good turn deserves another.
- Virtue is its own reward.
- Kindness never goes unrewarded.
